Christmas Tree Card

This is a Card I made for Christmas... I'm going to try to do a Daily Christmas card to help me get some of the cards I need done. 

I used a back round paper that I made using a candy cane stamp and Fire Red Stayz On Ink. I ran the green layer through the Swiss Dots cuttle bug folder. I got the Christmas Tree from the Designer Calender Cricut Cartridge and I used my Cricut soft wear to re-size the Tree. I added small pearls and gems to serve as the ornaments.

The stamp set is from Close to My heart and I stamped the Candy Canes from the front in Blazing Red Stayz On Ink. I ran the green layer through the Swiss Dots Folder too.

Blessed at 60 Blog Hop Day 2

Welcome to day 2 of the Blessed at 60 blog hop. Today's project is based on Cancer awareness and support. Make sure you get into the drawing for the Gypsy, the proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. 




The cancer than I'm supporting is Lung Cancer. I have a personal experience with Lung Cancer. My Aunt passed away last year after a 6 month battle with it. I was there by her side through all of it. I know what it's like to make Chemo runs and deal with Radiation and doctor's appointments. My Aunt taught me so much through her battle and I miss and love her.  The color for Lung Cancer is clear so I made an acrylic album that I filled with her pictures and Memories I have of her.

Now on to my project for the day.

The stamp I used is from Close to my heart... I don't remember which set it is from, but I stamped it using Tim Holtz Distress Ink. I also made the water and sky with Distress ink. The sentiment is from an old INKADINKADO set and is stamped in Stayz On ink. I used Recollections paper. My card is 41/4 x 5 1/2.

For the inside I used another Close to my Heart stamp from the same set and I stamped them with Distress ink.
