Card Challenge for Creating the Crafty Life #23
I made this card for the weekly card challenge at CCL. I used My Mind's Eye paper for the back round, Studio G brads on the side, the EK Success Scallop punch, the St. Valentine's Stamp set from Cloud 9, Blazin red StazOn Ink, and the 3 ticket punch from EK Sucess.

My Cricut Craft Room's Winter & Snow Blog Hop
Welcome to My Cricut Craft Room's Winter & Snow Blog hop! You should have come from Teresa's blog. If you have come here by mistake please start at the beginning Start.
For My projects today I made an 8x8 inch Lay Out.
I used the Designer Calendar Cricut Cartridge. I cut the snowflake at 3 inches.
I used my ATG gun to put the snowflake together and then I covered it with Diamond Stickles to make it sparkle. Then I took a snowflake stamp and stamped around where I wanted to put my pieces with Azure Stayz On Ink.
I cut my banner with my Fiskar's paper trimmer. I cut the blue layer in at 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 square. Then I found the center point using my ruler and marked it. I put it back on the trimmer at a diagonal and cut it, I turned and repeated. The white lay was done with 1 1/4 x 1 1/4 inch squares. Then I used a blue gel pen to write the words. I adhered it with foam tape.
I did my photo boxes with 4 inch paper squares bordered with blue paper cut at 4 1/4 x 4 1/4.
I also added some blue bling stickers I picked up at Micheal's last year but they matched my lay out perfectly.

Pay it Forward
So I saw a post on face book about paying it forward and I thought that would be a fun and awesome thing to do so I passed it on and started making my 'pay it forward' projects and this these are two of my pay it forward projects.
I had 2 of the plain wooden frames from the dollar section at Micheal's and I painted them with antique white paint.
For this frame I covered it with red paper on the top and checkered paper on the bottom. I covered the seam in the middle with black gross grain ribbon. I used the Cricut Craftroom to weld and cut the letters and numbers with the Plantain SchoolBook Cricut Cartridge using the Roly Poly Font. Then I covered the words and numbers and all the paper surfaces with Glossy Accents
For this frame I covered it with brown and pink patterned paper and covered the seems with brown and pink polka dot gross grain ribbon. Then I added paper roses I made to the top and bottom corners. I made 3 stick pins and used one on the bottom and 2 on the top. I also took some pearl sprays I got at Hobby Lobby in the Wedding section ran wire through them and looped them and added them to both corners too.
Thanks for stopping by~ Carla
