Halloween Lay Out 8.5x11"

Hey everyone I'm so sorry that I haven't posted in a while, life has been so busy. First of all My beautiful Big Sister gave birth to my newest Nephew.

Aiden Matthew Joel was born on September 15, 2012. He was 8 pounds 9 ounces and 20 inches. So I have been out of town, but I have a ton of projects to share with you that I did before he was born.

I've been working on Christmas presents.... I know it's only September, but I wanted to get a head start on them. I made a Scrapbook for my dad of old pictures of him and his family from his childhood and up. This is one of the one page lay outs I made.

Supplies Used:

*8.5 x 11" Black Recollections Card stock
*8.25 x 10.75" Martha Stewart Crafts Halloween Patterned Paper
*3 x 4 3/8" black photo mat
*Recollections Halloween Border Sticker
*K&Co. SpookTacular Adhesive borders
*Studio G spider punch
*Studio G Stamp
*Martha Stewart Creepy Fence Punch
*Ranger White Embossing Powder
*Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Vintage Photo and Iced Spruce
*White Gel Pen
*Foam Tape

I loved this paper from Martha Stewart. A paper saving tip is that you can cut the card stock from behind the patterned paper to use for the photo mat. I usually leave an inch border just to be safe.

This photo was cut from a newspaper featuring my Dad and a co-worker dressed up for Halloween in the 70's. I decided to cut the photo mat larger and do my journaling under the photo.

I attached my photo using Photo Safe foam tape.

Here I added two of the boarder stickers, I like that you can cut a boarder apart and use it as a sort of title like I did here.

Here I added the third boarder sticker piece at the bottom.

Here is the Studio G Stamp that I embossed with the white Ranger Embossing powder, I used the Martha Stewart creepy fence punch and the Distress ink to make the fence on the side.
I used the Studio G Spider punch to punch the little spiders and attached them with very tiny pieces of foam tape.

Here is my finished lay out.

Thanks so much for stopping by please come back again soon~ Carla
