Angry Birds Birthday Card

This is the card I made to go with the Candy Bouquet from yesterday.

My Card base is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches in white card stock. The mat layer is 4 X 5 1/4.

I got the Angry Birds paper from a friend on Facebook Janet  Nagai. I printed the paper off and cut it at 3 3/4 x x 5 inches.

These are from the freebie Angry Birds party set from Paper Piecings by Nikki. I cut them out.

I used a 1 inch punch to punch out the white circle and I stamped the sentiment in Jet Black   StazOn Ink. I used a 1 1/4 inch punch to punch the black circle.

I used foam tape to adhere 3 of the 4 characters to the front cover.

My black mat layer is cut at 4 x 5 1/4 inches. The white layer is cut at 3 3/4 x 5 inches for the inside of the card.

I put the Bomb Bird on the inside along with a Birthday Poem and the same sentiment from the front cover.

Candy Bouquet for Marco Andretti

Next week I will be going to the Indy 500. I'm going with a group called the Marcoteers. We will be meeting Marco and giving him his birthday presents. I made a Candy Bouquet and a card (I'll share later) for him.

This is my finished project.

I bought 4 boxes of candy at walmart for $.98. Make sure that you get boxes that are the same or close to the same size.

Adhere them together, I used Red Sticky Tape. I put a line or two of tape on the edges and fit them together to make a box shape.

I measured the bottom of the boxes and cut several layers of card stock and adhered them together then I used the Red Sticky Tape to adhere it to the bottom of the boxes.

You will need some kind of craft foam from the flower section, I used a round one because that's what I could get. Hot Glue it into the bottom of the box you made with the candy boxes.

I took skewers and put some red sticky tape on the flap of the back of the candy wrapper and folded it over the skewers to secure it, then push it into the foam.

I used some candy that didn't have a flap on the back so I hot glued the skewers on since the candy is wrapped it won't hurt anything.

Cut the skewers at different lengths and arrange the candy in the craft foam.

I wrapped cellophane and secured it with some string then covered the tie with some black ribbon. I think it turned out awesome I hope he likes it!!!!

Thanks for stopping by make sure you come back again tomorrow to see my angry birds card~ Carla

Twilight Birthday Card set

Hey Y'all Welcome to RacinCrafts, today I want to share with you a Birthday Card set I made for one of my amazing best friends. This is a Thank you gift for her.

The Cards I made are 4x4 cards and I made the envelopes using my Martha Stewart Score Board. I will post a video on how to make these later.

My Card base is white card stock and I cut it at 4x8 and scored in at 4. The black mat layer is cut at 3 3/4x 3 3/4 inches. The Red layer isDCWV Immortal Love paper and it's cut at
3 1/2x 3 1/2 inches.

I cut this using my Spell binders Nestiblites and then stamped my sentiment in Blazing Red StazOn Ink.

I stamped the mouth/fangs from the Forbitten stamp set by Our Craft Lounge. I colored the lips with the red Prisma Color markers. I covered it with Glossy Accents.

I used foam tape to adhere the sentiment and I just used ATG to attach the mouth.

For the inside of my Card the black mat layer is cut at 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 and the white layer is cut at 3 1/2 x 3 1/2. I used more of the Forbitten Stamp set along with an INKADINKADO Happy Birthday Stamp. I stamped them both with Jet Black StazOn Ink.

Altered Frame

Hey y'all thanks for stopping by today I want to share the Frame I did for my Mom's Birthday. I just used one of the wood frames you can get at Micheal's for a dollar.

I covered the top of the frame with Pink Zebra print paper and the bottom with black card stock. I hot glued some pink and black ribbon over the seam and put some bling on it.

I took some fabric flowers from the dollar store and sprayed them with Tattered Angles Glimmer Mist and hot glued some bling in the center.

I also Glimmer Misted the frame itself and hot glued a Cherish Metal decoration on the corner.

I also put some bling on the top left hand corner of the frame to balance it out.

Scrapping With Lisa Design Team

Welcome to the Team Princess bi-weekly blog hop for the Scrapping with Lisa's Designs. This week Team Princess is working on the Blue Bird from the Birds Pattern Set. However, there are a few challenges that go along with the blue bird. We were not allowed to create the bird in blue, nor were we allowed to create a card or a layout. We hope this shows the real versatility in Lisa's patterns.

One really nice thing about Paper Piecing with Lisa's patterns is that you can cut them out with a machine, or you can cut them out by hand. She also provides a digital image of each as well.

Our blog hop starts HERE at scrapping with lisa  designs, so please start from the beginning and spread your wings to fly from one blog to the next and check out all the wonderful designs by team princess.

You will find the Bird Pattern Here

For my Project I created an Altered Picture Frame. I hand cut my projects and it's so easy. Lisa has really made it easy even if you don't have a machine to cut it for you.

Thank you for stopping by today and please remember to visit my Design Team Sister's blogs. We all look forward to your comments, as this is how we all improve our work.

Here is the line up for the DT blogs.

Swimming Lay Out

This is a lay out I made for my Nephew Drew's scrap book that I'm making him. This was his first time swimming.

To make my title I used my 1 1/4 inch circle punch to punch out the light blue circles. I used my 1 inch circle punch to punch out the white circles and the half circles to make the waves at the bottom.

I stamped out my title using Azure StazOn Ink. I used that ink to stamp the journaling tab too.

I used the ticket punch to punch the ticket on the picture.

I'm not quite done with this page, I have to get a picture resized to go in the empty photo mat.
