Design Team Flower Garden Blog Hop

Welcome to Scrapping with Lisa's Designs Design Team displaying Lisa's file Flower Garden, http://www.scrappingwithlisadesigns.com/item_33/Flower-Garden.htm, which is available in her store. There are 5 great flowers which the Design Team will showcase in various ways to show the versatility of this file.

For my project I decided to make a wreath or wall hanging using recycled toilet paper rolls to make flowers that I hot glue together to make a circle. I used two of Lisa's beautiful flowers patterns and some glittered tulle to make bows.

Wouldn't want you to get lost along with way of the garden path. Here is the complete line-up with both teams combined.

Cute As A Bug Lay Out Part 1

As you know I'm a proud member of the Scrapping with Lisa Design Team and I want to share a lay out I'm working on using some of her cuts. I have the first page done so here it is.

This is the lady bug from the Cute as a Bug cut set. The really cool thing about paper piecing is that you can make changes to the pattern to make it work for you.

Here is my lay out after I got the title on. I used the Plantain School Book Cricut Cartridge to cut the grass and title.

This is my finished lay out. Come back tomorrow to see the second page of the lay out.

Scrapping with Lisa Designs DT post

Welcome to my Scrapping With Lisa Designs Bi-Weekly posting.  This week we are using the girl one pattern from the Strawberry Shortcake and Friends pattern.  You will find this pattern in the store if you click on this link. (http://www.scrappingwithlisadesigns.com/item_14/Strawberry-Shortcake.htm)

Lisa has created some wonderful patterns that are so versatile.  You will see this versatility as you peruse through my design team sisters blogs.

I decided to use the Strawberry Shortcake and friends pattern a little differently. I used her on a Halloween Lay out. Halloween is one of my favorite times of year so I love doing Halloween things.

This is my finished paper piecing. That's the great thing about paper piecing you can customize them for the project your using them on. I used a white gel pen and a black sharpie to add some accents.

This is the back round of my lay out. I made an 8x8 inch lay out with white cardstock and paper studio patterned paper.

This is my finished lay out and I love the way it turned out. I used a couple Martha Stewart punches to add the finishing touches but I love love love how She turned out, she's adorable. If you don't have her you need to go to Lisa's Store and pick her up.

I encourage you to stop by the Facebook fan page and see the work of our wonderful fans as well.  You will find that page by clicking on this link. (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Scrapping-With-Lisa-Designs/130882060268842) I know you won’t be disappointed.

Scrapping with Lisa Designs Fun

https://www.facebook.com/pages/Scrapping-With-Lisa-Designs/130882060268842

Here is a reminder that for today, we have three exciting things happening. First of all, you still have until 3pm to post your project using the free bear in order to win the rubber duckie file which won't be in my store for awhile. Second, Kimberly is running a Teaser Graphic contest where the first one to identify the pattern from my store wins today's file which again won't be in the store for awhile, so here is your chance to be the first to own a special file which no one will have. Third we are having the build your own sale. If you buy $10 in patterns, then you get 10% off, $20 in patterns, then you get 20% off and finally if you buy $30 or more, you get 30% off.

All Sports Blog Hop Day 2

Welcome to the All Sports Blog Hop hosted by Carla over at http://racincrafts.blogspot.com/. This blog hop is to celebrate all the things we love about Sports. This is a two day blog hop so please come back tomorrow to see all the projects the talented ladies in this hop have made. Make sure that you comment on everyone’s posts and follow everyone to be eligible for the Candy that was donated by our fabulous sponsor www.gingersnapscraps.com make sure you hop over and say hello there too.

For my Project today I decided to re-purpose something I had laying on my desk. I recently pulled out a wood mounted backround stamp that I rarely used because it was hard to line it up with the block in the way. I decided to pull it off the block and use it with a clear block.

So I decided to use the wood block to make a picture block. And seeing as hockey is HUGE in my house, my whole family are huge Chicago Blackhawk fans, my favorite player is Jonathan Toews the Captain of the Blackhawks I decided to use him on the block.

This is the block that I used.

This is the block after I covered it on both sides with Black Card stock.

I used Rubber Cement to attach ribbon around the outsides of the block. I had some sitting on top of my desk and decided that would be the best available adhesive to use.

DISCLAIMER: I don't own nor do I claim to own this picture, I found this picture on Goggle and printed it off my computer. This is an old photo before Jonathan Toews became Captain.

I cut the picture down to side and matted it on a piece of scrap Red card stock and then attached it to my block.

I used the Sports Mania Cricut Cartridge to cut this puck at 2 inches. I wrote in White Gel pen Chicago Blackhawks, Toews, and the # 19.

I used Foam Tape to adhere the puck to my photo block.

I decided after I put the puck on it that the edges needed something else to I used my ATG Gun to adhere some sheer black ribbon to the edges as well.

Thank you for stopping bye, hop on over to Cathie's Blog to see what she's made you today.

All Sports Blog Hop Day 1

Welcome to the All Sports Blog Hop hosted by Carla over at http://racincrafts.blogspot.com/. This blog hop is to celebrate all the things we love about Sports. My Project for today is a Homemade Smash/ Memory book that I made for my upcoming trip to the Indy 500.

I started with a Composition note book and I ended up cutting the paper out of it and using it separate from the cover. I used the Cricut Craft Room software to make the Indy and 500. I got the flags off the Paper Dolls for the Everyday Cricut Cartridge and I paper pieced the flags together.

I used my Zig two way pen to put the layers together

I cut white card stock to 9 1/4 X 7 Inches and the rounded the corners. I used glimmer mist on this page. I used my bind it all to bind at the top and bottom of my pages and then I hot glued the binding into the cover.

I stamped out the name of the group I'm going to the races with and then outlined them with a black pen.

At the bottom I'm posting a Video so you can see all the pages.

Thanks for hopping by make sure you hop on over to Cathie's Blog to see what she's made for you!!! And come back tomorrow for the second day~ Carla

Easter Bunny Hop Day 2

Welcome to the Easter Bunny Blog Hop hosted by Erica over at http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com We are celebrating all things Easter Bunny. This is a two day hop so if you missed yesterday's posts make sure you check it out. If you have hopped down the bunny trail and arrived here from Lisa's Blog you have arrived in the right place.

My Project for today is a treat bag.

I cut the topper for the treat bag using my Spellbinders Nestabilities dies.

My stamped image is from the same STMH stamp set from yesterday. I colored it with my Prisma Markers and Stampin Up's Stampin Write markers, along with a white gel pen.

I stamped along the top of the topper with a stamp from Inkadinkado or stampabilities I think... I've had it for a long time and I didn't pay attention to the makers of the stamp sets back then. I stamped the FOR You sign is from the CTMH stamp set too.

I stamped it the first time in Tim Holtz distress ink Walnut stain and then I stamped it in Torn Jeans Distress ink and cut it out and I used foam tape to adhere that.

Make sure you hop on over to Cathie's Blog to see what she's made. Thanks for hopping by~ Carla
