Penguin Gift Tag
I've been trying really hard to make my own tags this year and I came up with another really easy gift tag.
What you will need to make this tag is....
- A stamp of your choice. I used and INKADINKADO clear stamp
-2 pieces of white Card stock cut to fit your stamp. I used 3x3"
-1 piece of colored card stock 1/4 inch bigger than the white card stock. I used Red Recollections card cut at 3.25 x 3.25".
- Markers to color your image if you choose to.
-Stickles or glitter of some sort if you want
- Hole punch
-Bakers Twine or some kind of string to attach the tag to a package.
Stamp the to and from on one of the white card stock pieces. I used Forest Green StazOn ink.
Stamp your image on the other white card stock. I used Jet Black StazOn Ink.
I choose to color my image and I used Ranger Ink Markers and Prisma Color Markers
Mount the white panels on the colored card stock.
I used Aleene's Tack it over and over and Martha Stewart Glitter to cover the cuff of the Penguins Hat.
Punch a small whole in the top corner of the tag and thread your bakers twine or string.

Halloween Lay Out 8.5x11"
Hey everyone I'm so sorry that I haven't posted in a while, life has been so busy. First of all My beautiful Big Sister gave birth to my newest Nephew.
Aiden Matthew Joel was born on September 15, 2012. He was 8 pounds 9 ounces and 20 inches. So I have been out of town, but I have a ton of projects to share with you that I did before he was born.
I've been working on Christmas presents.... I know it's only September, but I wanted to get a head start on them. I made a Scrapbook for my dad of old pictures of him and his family from his childhood and up. This is one of the one page lay outs I made.
Supplies Used:
*8.5 x 11" Black Recollections Card stock
*8.25 x 10.75" Martha Stewart Crafts Halloween Patterned Paper
*3 x 4 3/8" black photo mat
*Recollections Halloween Border Sticker
*K&Co. SpookTacular Adhesive borders
*Studio G spider punch
*Studio G Stamp
*Martha Stewart Creepy Fence Punch
*Ranger White Embossing Powder
*Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Vintage Photo and Iced Spruce
*White Gel Pen
*Foam Tape
I loved this paper from Martha Stewart. A paper saving tip is that you can cut the card stock from behind the patterned paper to use for the photo mat. I usually leave an inch border just to be safe.
This photo was cut from a newspaper featuring my Dad and a co-worker dressed up for Halloween in the 70's. I decided to cut the photo mat larger and do my journaling under the photo.
I attached my photo using Photo Safe foam tape.
Here I added two of the boarder stickers, I like that you can cut a boarder apart and use it as a sort of title like I did here.
Here I added the third boarder sticker piece at the bottom.
Here is the Studio G Stamp that I embossed with the white Ranger Embossing powder, I used the Martha Stewart creepy fence punch and the Distress ink to make the fence on the side.
I used the Studio G Spider punch to punch the little spiders and attached them with very tiny pieces of foam tape.
Here is my finished lay out.
