Cookies For Santa Blog Hop
Welcome to the Cookies for Santa Blog Hop!! Today we are celebrating all those yummy cookies we make for Santa. You should have arrived here from Heather's Blog. If you just happened upon this post head over to Lisa's Blog to see all the yummy Cookies.
For my Cookies I decided to share my Sandbakkle cookies.
These are yummy Norwegian butter like cookies.
Sandbakkels
2 Cups Butter
1 Cup Sugar
1 egg
6 Tablespoons Cream
1 Tablespoon Vanilla
6 Cups Flour
Cream together butter and sugar. Slowly stir in Cream, vanilla, and beaten egg. Gradually add small portions of flour until all ingredients are combined. Refrigerate the dough for a minimum of 2 hours. Press dough into Sandelbakker tins found HERE.Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes and remove from tin.
My family has found that they are really yummy with Nutella and whipped cream too.
Note: Do NOT wash the tins it will ruin them. Clean with a child's tooth brush and store in a ziplock bag
Thanks for stopping by please come back again soon~ Carla
