Valentine's Day Cards for Cancer Patients Blog Hop Day 2

Welcome to day 2 of the Valentine's Day Cards for Cancer Patients Blog Hop hosted by Mindy at If you have just stumbled across the hop you can start at the beginning with Mindy to see all the cards. If you arrived here from Paula's Blog you are in the right place.

This blog hop is to make and send Valentine's Day Cards to children who are at St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

I used the Create a Critter Cartridge to make the heart. My paper is by My Mind's Eye it's from last year, but it's adorable. I used the Threading Water Punch by Fiskars to my the red layer. This is a 4x4 Inch card.

I used Peachy Keen Dolly Dumplings stamps with StazOn Jet Black in to make the face. I colored the whites of the eyes using a jel pen and I filled in the lips with Glossy Accents I cover the eyes with this too.

I shaped the wings and then cover those with Diamond Stickles. I used 2 layers of foam tape to adhere the heart to the card.

The Sentiment on the front and inside the card are from the St. Valentine Day stamp set by Cloud 9. I used the Fiskars Threading water punch and My Mind's Eye paper to make the boarder inside and I did the stitch marks with a red and black Gel Pen.
