All Sports Blog Hop Day 1

My Project for today is a Homemade Smash/ Memory book that I made for my upcoming trip to the Indy 500.


I started with a Composition note book and I ended up cutting the paper out of it and using it separate from the cover. I used the Cricut Craft Room software to make the Indy and 500. I got the flags off the Paper Dolls for the Everyday Cricut Cartridge and I paper pieced the flags together.




I used my Zig two way pen to put the layers together




I cut white card stock to 9 1/4 X 7 Inches and the rounded the corners. I used glimmer mist on this page. I used my bind it all to bind at the top and bottom of my pages and then I hot glued the binding into the cover.




I stamped out the name of the group I'm going to the races with and then outlined them with a black pen.




At the bottom I'm posting a Video so you can see all the pages.

    I loved this hop and got some idea to make cards for male. thanks so much. There are few blogs where this hop post is not updated. So could not comment there.

    Just a question. I was doing your bloghop and a couple stops didn't have anything on them relating to your hop. Did I not go to the right place?

    Aw, what a fun project! I love how you "repurpose" things. Such a great habit! I do a lot of that too. It's a super fun way to get creative. This will be a fun album for all of your memories. :)
