 Have you started on your Christmas Cards and/or your Christmas Decor yet?  Well we will be showcasing some Christmas projects to help you get in the mood! In addition to seeing some awesome projects, there is some blog candy available too!  Miranda will be giving away a Michael's or JoAnn's gift card.  Winner's choice!  To be eligible to win the blog candy, you must leave a comment on each stop in the hop telling us what is your favorite summer time activity!  Be sure to leave a comment on each stop because the winner can be chosen from any of the participants blogs!

For my project today, I created (give us an intro to your project, a card, layout, wreath, etc)




My Project for today is a one layer Christmas card. The stamp is Stampendous and it's a huge Poinsettia. I embossed it using Super fine Gold embossing powder.

I used Evergreen Time Holtz Distress ink mixed with Pickett Fence Distress Stain to color the leaves.



To color the petals of the flowers I used a combination of Festive Berries and Pickett Fence Distress Stains.


To color the flower centers I used some yellow water color paint.



For the sentiment I embossed an Inkadinkado stamp on the bottom corner.

    Love the bold poinsettia. Have to be honest, I thought the first pic was your finished card....and I loved it like that! Then it just got better as you colored the flower. Really not sure which I like better! LOL!

    Favorite summertime activity - always torn between sitting in my craft chair and sitting on my patio with a cool drink in hand!

    Your card is so pretty that I had to take a moment and let you know. I love how you colored it. I am watching lots of Tim Holtz videos trying to learn different techniques he uses because I like his work so much.

    This is amazing! I really need to learn how to color in stamps. My favorite summertime activity is being on our boat in the lake. I love watching my 4 1/2 year old jumping into the water! :)
